These recipes were snagged and tweaked. The yogurt came from A Year of Crockpotting, but using Greek yogurt as the starter made mine turn out great. Remember to save a cup as a starter for your next batch. Granola is our new favorite snack.
See the older post for the Prairie Dust Recipe. This was a major hit! The recipe was really for patties, but they crumbled so we threw it in a tortilla. Great vegetarian recipe.
This spice mix sprinkled on some veggies with olive oil and slow roasted is excellent. We have been using sliced sweet potatoes, yukon gold potatoes, onions, brussel sprouts, plaintains, not necessarily all together but in combinations. We place the chopped veggies in a gallon ziploc, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the spice mix. Seal the bag, shake until coated and turn out onto a pan and roast.
